What or Who is "Spirit Of The Rose"?
Her comfort means so much to me because she had faced the reality of something
that most people fear even the possibility of facing... Cancer.
When I met
her, she had just come through a horrible battle with it, and had an online
ministry of encouragement to those who were still facing it.
Not to mention her ability to be a "mom" or a "sister" to any who may need
one.
By faith, she had turned her physical well-being into the hands of the One Who she had turned over her spiritual well-being to a number of years earlier...Jesus.
"Spirit Of The Rose" 
Now, by faith, she is facing that battle once again shoulder to shoulder with
her Lord, except this time, I have the privelege of supporting her in this fight.
Through much prayer, the Lord has directed me in ways that I can fight along
side of her even from many miles away.
This song was written for her encouragement, but also speaks to the suffering each of us have or will come up against.Knowing that our Savior, Jesus, never gave words of comfort that He
wasn't ready to back up with his actions, I prayed for direction for a way of backing up my words of comfort with action (When He said, "Be warm and filled", He provided food and clothing.)
